President and CEO, Oakland ZooDr. Parrott provided an overview of the history of the Zoo and the key conservation activities the Zoo has undertaken to protect species and habitat. The actual title of the organization is “Conservation Society of California” recognizing the footprint of the zoo and supporters across a large geographic area. Work of the Zoo includes local, regional, state/national and international activities. He provided ways in which community benefits and also ways in which we can promote and support the work of the zoo. 50cents of every ticket goes directly to conservation work.August 28, 2020
